Q1: What materials are used for packaging? At Rampant Records, we go above and beyond to guarantee that your items arrive in pristine condition. Our commitment to secure packaging is reflected in the use of carefully selected materials tailored to each item, ensuring the utmost protection during transit. Here's how we handle different types of items:

  • CDs: Securely packaged in padded envelopes.

  • Vinyl Records: Shipped in robust Defenda Pack mailers or Lil packing vinyl mailers, depending on what we deem as the best fit for your specific order. Extra reinforcement with cardboard stiffeners when necessary. We take extra care, adding Fragile tape or stickers to the outside of the mailers, reminding carriers to handle packages with the utmost care.

  • Box Sets: Thoughtfully packed in various box sizes, ensuring a snug fit. Additional protection with packing paper or bubble wrap as needed. To emphasize our dedication to safe delivery, Fragile tape or stickers are prominently displayed on the outside of the packaging.

Q2: What shipment tracking services do you use? For shipping, we primarily use Royal Mail. Large letters (CDs) and small parcels (Vinyl) under 2kg are typically sent via Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class. For larger orders over 2kg we use DPD Tracked Express Delivery. For items over a certain value, we use Royal Mail Tracked 24hr or Tracked 48hr delivery services. Tracking codes are automatically provided via email once the item is packaged and shipped. Delivery reference numbers are updated only after the items are delivered or a delivery attempt has been made.

Q3: Can I request special packaging for a gift? While we currently do not offer special gift packaging options, you can leave a note during the checkout process to request the removal of prices from the invoice. We'll do our best to accommodate your request.

Condition of Items
